A Diverse, Loving Church in Long Beach
Missional Communities are the primary means through which Anchor Community mobilizes people together on mission and connects people to a caring community, encouraging one another toward “Love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:26). Our current Missional Communities are as follows:
The general focus of our MC is to help develop a culture of the love of Christ through sacrificially giving. We also actively seek opportunities to serve and share meals with those that are seeking the Father. (Caring Connections, Yes We Serve, etc.) We are currently going through the book Future Grace as well.
We are committed to serving the community through loving and serving the community of North Long Beach.
The general purpose of our community group is to equip and help one another towards greater affections towards God, the proclamation of His precepts, and the spiritual well-being of His People. As we seek out His specific will for our Saturday community group, we will be dedicating one of our four monthly meetings towards serving the poor, orphans and the proclamation of the gospel to neighbors who are unfamiliar with it.
We will meet at different locations in Orange County to study God’s word, pray for one another, and discuss how we will tangibly demonstrate God’s Kingdom to our world. Email Mike for details. Our goal is to learn to love and serve one another and the communities we live in. We will be working to get together regularly and find ways to bless our community and expose the community to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
